Unique Christmas Gift Ideas

I'm always looking for unique Christmas gift ideas that does not require me to spend so much to make.

I believe Christmas has become too commercialized, and we are all lulled into thinking that it's ideal to overspend during the Christmas Season.

For instance, instead of buying greeting cards, make those yourself. Handmade Christmas greeting cards are more meaningful, since it takes more thought, time, and effort to make one than to buy one in a store.

As another example, instead of buying overpriced sweets, cakes, and other treats, why not bake those yourself?

Of course, the disadvantage to making handmade presents is it takes more time and effort. However, it is a great way of showing your loved ones and friends how much they mean to you.
